Disclaimer and Service Terms
The Nonprofit Web Care Plan is an annual managed hosting and website support service provided by
Ask the Egghead, Inc. The plan includes managed cloud hosting, WordPress platform maintenance,
security monitoring, SSL certificate management, nightly off-site backups, performance optimization, and general
technical support related to the hosted website.
This plan is intended for websites consisting of one hundred (100) total pages and posts or fewer
at the time of enrollment. Websites exceeding this limit may require an additional fee based on size, complexity,
and resource usage. Ask the Egghead, Inc. reserves the right to assess and quote additional fees for sites that
exceed this threshold either at onboarding or as the site grows over time.
The plan includes up to ten (10) POP or IMAP email accounts at the client’s domain, along with
unlimited email forwarding. Email services are provided as a convenience and are subject to standard usage limits
and acceptable use policies. Ask the Egghead, Inc. does not guarantee email deliverability, inbox placement, or
third-party filtering behavior.
The plan includes four (4) content updates per calendar month. A content update is defined as one
client instruction that results in a change to the website. Examples include editing or adding text on existing
pages, updating images, posting a blog article or event, or removing outdated content. Each separate request counts
as one update.
Content updates do not include the creation of new pages, custom layouts, new features, custom functionality,
integrations, accessibility remediation beyond existing compliance, or any work requiring custom coding or
third-party licensing. Requests outside the scope of content updates will be quoted and billed separately at the
current standard hourly rate.
Unused content updates do not roll over and expire at the end of each calendar month. Content update services are
available only while the account remains current and in good standing. If an account becomes past due or the client
is in arrears on any invoice, content update services may be suspended until payment is brought current.
Hosting services are provided on shared or cloud-based infrastructure managed by Ask the Egghead, Inc. While
reasonable efforts are made to ensure uptime, performance, and security, no guarantee is made regarding
uninterrupted service, uptime percentages, or protection against all possible security incidents.
Ask the Egghead, Inc. reserves the right to update infrastructure, security protocols, and service providers as
necessary to maintain service quality. The Nonprofit Web Care Plan may be modified or discontinued upon renewal
with prior notice. Fees are non-refundable once service has commenced.
This plan is intended for small to mid-sized nonprofit websites operating under standard traffic and usage
conditions. Excessive resource usage, abuse, or activity that violates acceptable use policies may require plan
adjustment or termination.
